Omaha’s Blackstone restaurants hope for post-holiday boost after construction break
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Blackstone district restaurants are hoping for increased business following a temporary break in streetcar construction that has disrupted the area for months.
Christmas may be over, but for Blackstone businesses, construction-free streets are bringing customers back after a challenging year.
“People can now know for sure that, hey, we can get here now. There’s not going to be any kind of detours or street closures,” said Bill Baburek, owner of Crescent Moon.
Joel Marsh, owner of Noli’s Pizzeria, said customers are returning and he’s hopeful for the weekend with nice weather.
